Please get in touch with me to discuss my fee schedule. Payment is made at the time of consultation, and is processed through secure practice management software. Fees apply for additional reports or consultations outside standard practice. My fees are set in accordance to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) recommended fees for Accredited Mental Health Social Workers.

Medicare Rebates and Referrals

You do not require a referral, or a mental health care plan to see me. I am able to offer Medicare and Private Health rebates and for these you do require a referral.

If you are interested in Medicare rebates speak to your GP who can make a referral under the Commonwealth-funded Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. If you bring your referral paperwork with you to your first appointment and provide your Medicare card details, your rebate can be processed at the time of your appointment.

For private health insurance customers ask your health fund if they cover this service as each policy and insurance provider differs. If your insurer does cover you, you will be provided with a receipt to take to the insurer to claim the rebate.

Please note that you are unable to claim both Medicare and Private Health insurance rebates at the same time.

Funded therapy

There are a number of funded support schemes for children and parents to access therapeutic intervention. I also have a small number of low fee places for struggling families. Please speak to me further if you would like to find out more this information.

Cancelled and Missed Appointments

Please give as much notice as possible for cancellations, so that your appointment time can be used by another family. Late cancellation fees apply and Medicare rebates are not available for these.
